Honey

Agricola San Matteo is a crazy farm on Mount Etna that makes an extraordinary Zagara (orange blossom) and Fichi d’India (prickly pear flower) honey local to the area. Likewise, on the other Northernly end of Italy in Piedmont, other crazy farmers at Diale, in the National Park of Stura (at times at an altitude of over 2000 metres), bring their bees at night to make melata (mountain forest) honey.
